Privacy Policy

Only what you type into the prayer intention form. If you choose to light a candle on the prayer wall, we store the first name and last initial you enter, the intention itself, and which candle you chose. If you supply an email address, we store that too. Every one of these fields is something you typed on purpose.

What you type into the guestbook. If you sign the guestbook, we store your first name, last initial, town or country, and your note. You may also leave an email address or a mobile number. Both are optional, both are kept private, and neither is ever shown beside your note.

Anonymous page counts. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are visited. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other websites. We see totals, not people.

• No advertising or third-party tracking cookies. This site sets no cookies for visitors at all.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your information with anyone, for any purpose, ever.
• No unsolicited mail or texts. Submitting an intention or signing the guestbook does not subscribe you to anything. You are added to a list only if you tick the box asking for it, and never as a side effect of leaving your address.
• No accounts for visitors. Only the family administrator signs in, solely to review intentions.

The email field on the prayer form is optional. It is never displayed on the prayer wall or anywhere else public. It is used only so the family can reach you about your own intention — for example, to tell you it is being prayed for. If you would rather give nothing, leave it blank; the intention works exactly the same.

The guestbook has two checkboxes, both empty until you tick them: one to receive occasional email updates, and one to receive the day's prayer by text message. We record the date you gave permission along with the exact wording you agreed to, so there is never any question about what was consented to.

You can stop at any time. Every email carries an unsubscribe link. For text messages, reply STOP to end them or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for any of it, and agreeing is never a condition of anything else on this site.

Your number and address are used only to send what you asked for. They are not sold, rented, shared, or passed to an advertiser.

Every submitted intention is held privately for review and appears on the public wall only after a family member approves it. If it is not approved, it simply never appears. Please use only a first name and last initial, and do not include a phone number, home address, or medical details in the text of an intention — the wall is a public page.

This site is written for families and contains nothing unsuitable for children, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a child has submitted an intention with personal details, write to us and we will remove it promptly.

Intentions are stored in a Supabase database, and the site is hosted by Vercel. Both are established service providers who process this data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS.

Write to prayers@badolatofamilyrosary.com and ask. Tell us roughly what the intention said and when you sent it, and we will delete it. You do not have to explain why, and there is no form to fill in. You may also ask us what we hold about you, or ask for a correction.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Since we do not have your address unless you gave us one, we cannot notify you directly, so the date is the honest record.
