The Badolato Family Rosary is a personal family resource offered with love by Andrew M. Badolato for his sons, grandsons, and all who wish to pray the Holy Rosary.
All content on this site concerning the Rosary, its prayers, and its Mysteries has been sourced only from Catholic materials that have already received a prior Nihil Obstat and/or Imprimatur (or equivalent ecclesiastical approval). We adhere strictly to those approved sources and present the material in fidelity to them.
What Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur mean
- Nihil Obstat“nothing stands in the way”
- The declaration given by a Church-appointed censor after reviewing a work. It states that the content contains nothing contrary to Catholic faith or morals.
- Imprimatur“let it be printed”
- The formal permission granted by a bishop (or other competent Church authority) allowing the work to be published.
These are the traditional official markings found in approved Catholic books and resources. They assure the faithful that the material has been examined and found free of doctrinal or moral error according to the teaching of the Catholic Church.
In simple, everyday language
Think of the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur as the Church's way of saying: “We have checked this carefully. Nothing in here goes against what the Catholic Church teaches about faith and morals. It is safe for Catholics to use.”
They do not mean the material is infallible or that every opinion in it is required belief. They simply confirm it does not contain errors against official Catholic teaching. By using only sources that already carry these approvals, this site stays within that same safe, faithful boundary.

This website itself has not sought its own separate Nihil Obstat or Imprimatur. It is a private compilation offered for family prayer and personal devotion, drawn exclusively from previously approved Catholic sources.
