Be the first to pray

The Chapel of Light
Light a Candle
For centuries, the faithful have lit candles as a sign of prayer that continues after we leave the church. Light one here — keeping your intention private, or sharing it so others may pray with you.
THE WALL OF LIGHT — INTENTIONS HELD IN PRAYER

Light a candle, privately or on the wall
If you or someone you love is in crisis, please seek local emergency help or visit the IASP list of crisis resources.
What This Site Is — and Is Not
- Praying here is free
- The Rosary, every prayer text, and the Wall of Light are free to use. Lighting a candle is never an exchange for a prayer, a blessing, or a favor.
- No account is needed to pray
- You never have to register or sign in to pray the Rosary or read anything on this site. You may also light a candle privately, in which case nothing is recorded at all.
- Shared intentions are reviewed first
- Sharing an intention on the Wall of Light is optional. Every submission is read by a person before it appears, and only your first name and last initial are ever shown.
- Your email is never published
- An email address is optional. If you give one it is never shown on the wall or anywhere else public, and is used only to contact you about your own submission if that is ever necessary.
- A sign of prayer, not a substitute for parish life
- The candles here are a sign of prayer and a help to devotion. They are not a sacrament or sacramental, and they are not a substitute for the Mass, the sacraments, or the life of your parish.
“Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” — Psalm 141:2
